Introduction
Lord of the Flies is the final work we will study together this year. You may already know that it is a story about a group of boys that crash land on a deserted, tropical island. Before we begin reading, it is important for us to understand key concepts that are central to the book's theme. To that end, I am asking you to complete all parts of this exploration.
Task You and a group of friends have crash landed on a tropical island. In order to survive until you are rescued, you will need to figure out the lay of the land, set up some rules to live by, and take stock of your survival supplies.
